Oh my gosh....this has to be one of my favorite songs. Unfortunately, I can't listen to it too often, cuz it makes me really sad. Makes me think of my childhood, and how it's all gone now! I love this song, like so much of his works. as to the people that didn't like it. i was in the military and i fought to protect the right for people to have differernt opinions. as long as they don't take away from the right of us that like to listen to this good music.

First, no one is forcing kids to listen to Lil Wayne, Eminen or other artists. Second, sampling does count as an art form. Take Danger Mouse's "Gray Album." It was neither Beatles nor Jay-z, even though it combined parts of both. It made something new from a foundation, which tends to be how most societal advancements are made.

The Eagles sang songs that made us happy and wanted to experience life to its fullest. I am saddened that the kids today have to listen to glorified gangstas like LilWayne, Eminen. and like them.
